New Partnership to Tackle UK’s Biggest Health Challenges

Duradiamond's Chief Medical Officer Alasdair Emslie has commented on a new five-year strategic partnership ‘Little Helps to Healthier Lives’ between Diabetes UK, Tesco, the British Heart Foundation and Cancer Research UK, to tackle the UK’s biggest health challenges through behaviour change.

Focused on Tesco colleagues, customers and their families, the partnership aims to help people form healthier habits, and make it easier to shop more healthily, eat better and move more.

In the UK today, around 4 million people are living with Type 2 diabetes, and an estimated 7 million people are living with heart and circulatory disease.

Having Type 2 diabetes can double your risk of developing heart and circulatory disease, which makes this new partnership all the more important.
