The London to Brighton Bike Ride

British Heart Foundation Bike Ride Duradiamond Healthcare

Congratulations to all those who participated in and supported the British Heart Foundation's London to Brighton Bike Ride, including Duradiamond Healthcare's own Rob England.

Over 15,000 cyclists rode through the Sussex countryside, conquering Turners Hill and Ditchling Beacon, to help the BHF beat heart and circulatory diseases. The London to Brighton Bike Ride is the British Heart Foundation's flagship event covering 54 miles from Clapham Common to the Brighton Seafront.

Rob completed the race, despite the inclement weather and a painful knee slowing him down towards the end. Rob has undertaken the London to Brighton Bike Ride twice before in 1993 and again in 1994/5.

Well done Rob!

“It was very gruelling for me being almost twice my age when I did it originally…I am just now starting to ache in places that I knew that I would, i.e. back, hips, knees, etc. but I can hold my head up high and say “I DID IT” all for a great cause and I am already looking forward to doing it again next year!”
