Making the festive season that little bit better

Duradiamond Healthcare was delighted to work in partnership with local and national businesses again this year to donate advent calendars to young patients at the Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital.

It’s a little way to show our support for the Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals Trust (BSUH) Charity and bring some festive joy as we get closer to Christmas.

Almost 900 advent calendars (including vegan and gluten-free options!) were donated this year as part of the Charity's Spreading Christmas Smiles campaign.

About the BSUH Charity

As the Trust’s own charity, they're dedicated to raising money for all wards and departments across their hospitals:

  • The Royal Sussex County Hospital
  • The Royal Alex Children’s Hospital
  • The Sussex Eye Hospital
  • Princess Royal Hospital.

The charity exists to enhance the Trust’s care and services, helping them to go above and beyond what they can do with core government funding. The charity beneficiaries are BSUH patients.

It's vision is to improve the experience of every patient by partnering with the BSUH Trust in delivering great outcomes and experiences for patients, by fundraising and investing in equipment, training and causes that benefit patients.

We're delighted to have been part of this.
